China’s LED Production Volume Undergoes Double Digit Growth in 1H16

China’s LED industry produced 296.3 billion LEDs during first half of 2016, up 19.21% Year-on-Year, reported China Light Industry Internet (CLII). In June alone, China produced 60.2 billion LEDs, up 26.12% compared to last year.

The report used data compiled from China’s National Bureau of Statistics and customs did not specify the type of LED products (LED chip, package or end products) used for the basis of calculations.
